Building Regulations Drawings
Building regulations drawings are the detailed technical drawings that the Local Authority building control examines and approves prior to you starting work. These drawings set out exactly how the work should progress and has all the building specifications that the Council has agreed and approved and that the builder should follow. That way we will all know what we are doing!
The builder will usually quote from this drawing.
It is a good idea to review the drawing to make sure that there isn’t anything else that you want the builder to do that isn’t shown on the drawing as the builder may well charge for ‘extras’ that weren’t originally specified.
